Agree - A Homepage should always be there

I agree with your post. In our case, we developed a homepage that emulates a Portal, complete with hide-when formulas to display links and content based on the end user's role. Of course we had to customize bookmark.ntf to display another database (I mean application :-)

If users have to explicitely open our homepage when when want to use it, many of the benefits of a true Notes homepage go away.
